Thank you Governor Paul LePage (for Congress/CD2) for your visit to Lowell, for your steadfast support of rural Maine and of course for signing "the book" 😃.

Hello friends and neighbors...we know, we know, it's been a long time since we've posted anything.

Well, the past few days were spent beginning the creation of our coffee/tea garden. It's still a work in progress, but it's coming along nicely.

Looking forward to seeing/meeting all that stop by.

Multi-tasking this morning. Opening up the Little Red Schoolhouse of Lowell, Maine to prepare it for fun near-term community events and listening carefully to visitors and voters that are stopping by to offer their support, and ask some very important questions.

Come on by, would love to give you a tour!!!

Check out this before and after. Graciously saved and donated by our good friend Tony, and gently restored to near original condition. Matched and serialized desk and chair No. 3 off the assembly line. Circa 1903, now a welcome addition the the Little Red Schoolhouse! The quill tips shown were actually found within the nooks and crannies of the desk! How cool is that?!?!

Mathew and I decided that our personal annual donation and support of the larger Central Maine Highlands district Wreaths Across America effort, this year, would cross boundaries to our neighboring Burlington. While we hope someday to see a seasonal wreath on every Veteran grave, we accept this in not something we can accomplish all on our own. If you are personally motivated or inspired to expand this effort, please directly contact regional coordinator Tami Colbath @ 207-943-3810. Ms. Colbath would be glad to add partners to her growing team. Happy Holidays to our family, friends and neighbors.

Well, it would appear our investments into new upgraded insulation has worked...the building is now a refrigerator because of it. We'll save up some more pennies and get the building electrified next year. Please continue to follow us for planned spring events. Have a warm and safe winter.
