Lovell-Kane Area Museum We are creating and sponsoring a museum for the preservation of the heritage of the Lovell-Kane Area. Museum Goals

1.

To emphasize the history of the Lovell-Kane Area; (including Kane, Dryhead, Hillsboro, Himes, Spence, and Ionia (1880-1965)), Lovell communities.
2. To maintain an association of persons interested in the Lovell-Kane Area’s history
3. To focus public attention on the area’s rich history
4. To sponsor cultural and related programs associated with the area’s history

Hey folks!
The Lovell-Kane Area Museum is still accepting contestants for our annual chili cook off! Contestants do not need to be present to serve or to win. To sign up call Karen at 307-272-0959. We will also have some chili and/or soup for sale during this event for those folks that need a quick bite to eat before the tree lighting. The cook off will be held at the museum from 1:30 to 4:30, Nov. 23rd, during the Mainstreet Mingle.
