We represent Thompson Valley Art League, a local co-operative of fine art professionals from Colorado

The gallery itself is owned and operated by the Thompson Valley Art League. TVAL is a non-profit cooperative that has over 50 local artist members. The Lincoln Gallery provides a venue for member artists to display their work and provides the community with original, local art. We have many active members and are always accepting of new members. Our Mission Statement:

The Purpose of the Organization shall be to promote an enthusiastic pursuit of art; to encourage individuality, originality and freedom of expression; to provide members with opportunities to obtain public recognition; to advance to the public the knowledge, appreciation and practice of the arts and the collection of works of art.

the wonderful world of kiln-formed glass and create unique fused glass snowflakes with popular instructor Gail Frick.

Kiln formed glass is an art form where separate pieces of glass are subjected to high heat (1200 F to 1600 F) to “fuse” the pieces together.

Students will create fused glass snowflakes. The snowflakes will measure 6 inches across, suitable for wall decorations.

All materials provided - plus firing of your piece!

Turn discarded hardcover books into two functional, artist-quality sketchbooks in this hands-on bookbinding workshop.

Students will create a classic traveler’s-style journal designed to be refillable and adaptable for ongoing use, as well as a sketchbook using long stitch binding—a durable technique dating back to the medieval era.

Along the way, you’ll learn practical skills including removing and repurposing book covers, preparing signatures, selecting appropriate papers, and stitching clean, secure bindings.

This class emphasizes craftsmanship, structure, and creative reuse. Participants will leave with two finished handmade sketchbooks—one refillable and one long-stitched—and the confidence to continue making custom books for drawing, journaling, or mixed media work.

Join Minette Riordan at Lincoln Gallery on Sunday, October 25 from 12pm to 4pm for this class and learn a practical skill you can use over and over again.

No prior bookmaking experience needed for this class.
