Sunlit Spring-I painted this sunlit Aspen grove to portray how new leaves and wildflowers light up a forest floor. Thick impasto and lively brushwork build the creamy white trunks and ink-dark knots, while palette-knife highlights give the surface a sculpted, tactile feel. Bright blues and fresh greens sit above a carpet of purple and yellow blooms that seem to peek between the trees. It’s a little pocket of spring for your wall—perfect for brightening a living room, entryway, or favorite reading nook.

Back-to-school season is not only for families with students. It changes the rhythm of entire communities.
