The Thomas Edison House is closed to visitors through Oct. 2. Sorry if we missed your visit and hope you can come back another time. We are looking for more docents to continue having regular hours if you are someone you know may be interested. If you have questions in the meantime, call or text us at (502) 585-5247. The house will be closed on Wednesday-Thursday, July 29-30. We'll have our normal hours on Tuesday, July 28, as well as Friday-Saturday, July 31-Aug. 1 (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)

We'll have tours 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, July 2, but we'll be closed the rest of the holiday weekend (July 3-4). We'll reopen next week with regular days and hours.

We'll have a delayed opening Tuesday at 11 a.m. (instead of the usual 10 a.m.). Regular hours on Wednesday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Join us!

We'll be closed on occasional days coming up:

• Saturday, June 6 (we're hosting a booth at the nearby Butchertown Art Fair)

• Tuesday, June 9-Wednesday June 10 (closed)

• Open again for regular hours Thursday, June 11; Friday, June 12; and Saturday, June 13.

Thanks for your patience and as always, we're looking for docents or folks who would willing to open the museum during our regular Tuesday-Saturday (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) hours. Thanks!
