The Gloucestshire Botanicals are some of the oldest images we have in the collection dating from sometime in the 1850's. They are photograms made by placing botanical matter on albumin photographic paper and exposing it to sun. The artist, or artists, are unknown. You can see two of these as part of our 25th Anniversary show which opens with a reception on Wednesday, July 15th.
