Wonderful talk and conversation with today. Thank you Philip for bringing this installation and your experience to Louisville, and sharing so generously about your life in the arts and how your practice has evolved and transformed.

So I am really looking forward to SUNDAY, spending time at Garner LARGE on SUNDAY, from 2-4 with artist Philip Campbell. He will talk about his installation at 3! There will be tea and cookies! On SUNDAY. (Saturday is St. Patrick's Day Parade and this part of the city is shut down. Pinch me already for my scheduling mistake!)

In the gosh 15 years I have been celebrating artists and their art, I believe I have now mistakenly scheduled an event over every single holiday except xmas. But I will keep trying!

See you SUNDAY. Please!

Meanwhile Phil really deserves an awesome Louisville reception. Last time he brought a fabulous installation to Garner Narrative? ICE STORM. Wiped out an entire First Friday of city events. We can do this!

❤️🪷🧙🎉🥳🙌

Change of date! Change of date! Let's not go up against the St. Patricks Day Parade in the Highlands!

[Reception this SUNDAY 2-4 with artist talk at 3.]

"I learned how to make quilts so you could become a participant in my art. You complete each piece by allowing it to comfort, warm and protect you. Rooting my narratives in a traditional, tactile craft medium has allowed me to create a simpler more accessible language in my work. I create tactile objects of comfort."
