Morning rescue history. Here's a neat one from Franklin County, group and fleet photo of the Louisburg Rescue Service in May 1965, shown at top. Plus a trio of vehicle photos from 1964, 1963, and 1969. See comments for those pics.

The squad operated from 1951 (or earlier) to 2007 (or later). Need help on dates. Local peeps, take over with names of people and makes/models/years of the pictured vehicles. Anyone have a copy of the original print photo?

The top picture appeared in the Franklin Times on May 11, 1965. See the full-page advertisement for the squad's "Guess the Price" fundraiser dinner, https://newspapers.digitalnc.org/lccn/sn84020791/1965-05-11/ed-1/seq-6/

Franklin County history hit. From the Franklin Times on July 25, 1963, Louisburg Fire Department Engineer Karl Pernell holds a town decal to the door of a new 1,250-gallon water tanker that the department put in service that week. [ It was a 1964 Ford/Alexander, 0/1250. Built by Alexander Welding in Raleigh. Cost $4,129.01. Served until 1983, when it was disposed to the town street department. ]
