We absolutely adore our docents here at Unser Racing Museum, even as much as our guests of all ages do. We were fortunate this week to host about 40 students, their chaperones and teachers, from Southwest Preparatory Learning Center on a field trip. Here you can see docent Dean interacting with students, many of whom asked Dean questions throughout their visit and everyone enjoyed a fun filled, and educational field trip.

We are also celebrating Carol’s recent accomplishment as she was recently honored at the Sweet Adeline Convention as a 51 year member. Congratulations Carol from all of us here at The Unser Racing Museum!

Guests travel from all over the world to visit the Unser Racing Museum.

This week we enjoyed guests from The UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and this Route 66 motorcycle group from France!

They flew to Chicago and are on their way to Santa Monica. Staff member, Jill enjoyed them and commented, “Only 2 spoke some English, but they all seem thrilled with my pitiful French!”

The Unser Racing Museum is the perfect place to make new friends.

An amazing image of the four-time 500 winners including Al Sr.

From left, A.J. Foyt, Al Unser, Rick Mears and Helio Castroneves pose for a portrait Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. All four men have won the Indianapolis 500 four times. Foyt's wins came in 1961, 1964, 1967 and 1977. Unser's wins came in 1970, 1971, 1978 and 1987. Mears' came in 1979, 1984, 1988 and 1991. And Castroneves' wins came in 2001, 2002, 2009 and 2021.

There’s something for everyone at the Unser Racing Museum.

What a great bunch of guys we had at the Unser Racing Museum yesterday. They call themselves “The Mild Hogs”, a take off of The Wild Hogs, all of whom are from states like Kentucky, Arkansas, Missouri, and having the time of their lives, enjoying a road trip.

We were honored today to have Martin Ryba, owner of M-1 Tool Works, Inc. who has been doing the machining work for Newman Hass Racing for many years. Showing him and his delightful wife around the museums is Dean, one of our amazing docents.
