Thanks to everyone who came out for PALE RIDER at the Autry Museum this past Saturday. October is always a crowded month for spooky screenings but we had a good turnout, movie looked and sounded great in the newly renovated theater and several audience members took the time to compliment me on my speech! Always great to see our friends Debra Irene and Rob Robinson.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of filming my Sci-Fi/Horror film PLAGUERS, I'm making a 25-tape limited run of PLAGUERS "Japanese Style" VHS for Video Store Day. They are $35 shipped.

There will also be "Out of this World" Bundles available with original cast and crew T-shirts, Blu-rays, DVD, original vintage stock mini-posters (foreign and domestic) and more.

Pleased to announce our next festival date for TRANSYLVANIA TAPES.

The movie will play on October 16 as an Official Selection at the Second Annual Red Fern Reaper Film Festival in Tahlequah, OK. This is a very cool - and very indie friendly - fest with a lot of great filmmakers involved.

On October 10, I'll be back at The Autry hosting my "Weird Western" film series. This time, we're screening Clint Eastwood's PALE RIDER, one of the few Eastwood films to touch on the supernatural. The "Weird Western" series is done in conjunction with my book TERROR IN THE DESERT: DARK CINEMA OF THE AMERICAN SOUTHWEST and there will be copies of the book available for purchase in the Autry bookstore after the screening (and possibly some NEON NIGHTMARES too).

TBT: July 2018, release event for my first book, TERROR IN THE DESERT: DARK CINEMA OF THE AMERICAN SOUTHWEST, at West Hollywood's famous Book Soup on the Sunset Strip. It was a scorching hot that day (kind of like it is now!). Launching TERROR IN THE DESERT at Book Soup was meaningful to me, as my first time in the store was in 1996, when it was used as a location for KISS THE GIRLS. They kept the store open during the shoot and I bought a few books that night.
