Studio Systems Experimental Residency ends Saturday 8/29 6 - 9pm. The experience has been motivational to say the least, all 10 of us pushed our comfort zones and bonded. I encourage you to visit, meet them and see the extraordinary work produced.

In addition, there is an artist talk for the 3 residents of the Cycladic Arts residency in Alyki, Paros, Greece, a partner program with TAM. Special thanks to the hardworking TAM staff and director, Max Presneill, all advocates for bringing remarkable contemporary art experiences to the South Bay community.

It is astonishing how artists come together and make beautiful things when given the chance. The effort, the collaborations and the gorgeous, strong work that shows up is tremendous. That kind of chance doesn’t exist much anymore but an advocate for artists and artists run spaces like , makes it happen! I am full of gratitude for art friends, my IG art buds, art lovers and the Torrance Art Museum staff for their support and generosity. Truly generous. There is no cost to apply or participate and TAM makes this event free for the public to attend. Hands down the most exceptional opportunity for both the artist, art collectives and the public. Hello art lovers and artists, don't miss this weekend's free world famous Pop-Up art fair! Over 300 artists will be displaying their work over 3 floors of the Del Amo Crossing building located at 21535 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance 90503.

Friday 08/07: VIP Opening 4-6pm(all are welcome; no RSVPs required)

Saturday 08/08: Open to the public 12-6pm

Sunday 08/09: Open to the public 12-6pm

Park anywhere around the area including across the street.

I am a resident at Torrance Art Museum this month and will be there Friday Evening and most of Saturday. While in the area, stop by TAM for Studio Systems where me and 9 other artists are creating works of art in the main gallery.

First day of a month long residency at the Torrance Art Museum. Studio Systems entails 10 artists creating in the main gallery everyday the museum is open for the month of August. Come visit anytime Tuesday - Saturday, 11-5pm.

When I returned to painting, I never imagined 3,500 people would be interested in following along. It's not about the "likes" it's about community and curiosity, an exchange of ideas. It DOES inform the work, you are in there.
