As a prerequisite to taking the Origins Guardian Training course for Musea University, we did a painting class called Legend:ArcheoFutura

We explored how the world came into being, our ancestors that came before us and how they would gather to tell stories and how those stories shaped us, then we tuned in to what wisdom we each hold within ourselves how that has informed who we are now, who we wish to become and how we would inform the future beings that come after us 500 years into the future. Using Intentional Creativity we painted our Legendary Self and a bit of the stories we are carrying. This is mine.

Excerpt from Chapter 1 Legendary Chronicles
I was born when the sun was closest to the earth, shining its brightest on the longest day of the year. I was MEANT to shine & to teach others how to use their own light to shine. I am a beacon, guiding the world back home to themselves. I am standing on the threshold of who I am, what I am, and my own sense of place. I have recognized that I have never been "too much" but that I have always been MORE! I stand taking it all in... there is power here, these are powerful places I have emerged from. The Cave of Stories, The Tree of Knowledge, The Tree of Life, The Stonehenge of the Summer Solstice, The Singularity Explosion of Existence... all ring with a common thread of emergence. EMERGENCE!! A coming forth into being, the birthing of a Legend... and I have arrived, I am Here!

My beloveds dance composting the stories they have within themselves, creating the fuel that will shape who they are becoming. I hold a palette and a brush bc I am the author of my own story, creating the life I wish to live.

As a participating Cura Council member & student at MUSEA University I am currently studying in a training called Origins. We are exploring ideas like chosen consciousness, soul repair, the relationship between the spirit and the body and how self-expression can heal the fragmentation we have been experiencing as a species. This will be impacting my work and my shares with all of you! We approach this work through Intentional Creativity®, which means to create what we create with love. Most often we practice what we are learning through movement, meditation, metacognitive drawing and painting. For the next 6 months I will be sharing what I learn with you in the following ways....

Today’s share is my Constellation of Being painting. This is the 3rd layer “remembering”

What I am remembering is….
I am the Mother. I care, I tend, I nurse.
My needs are met by me. I am the one who matters, who makes me matter, who sees that the mattering takes place.

I am remembering that I am love & acceptance.
I am re-Mothering myself, loving myself, accepting myself.

I know the truth that lives within me as no one else does. I am remembering what that truth was before the voice of others. When it was just me, myself and I that I was listening to.

You are more… There is more…

Almost complete with the Legend painting I started almost two weeks ago… so much new awareness is coming thru. Today while tuning in to the innate wisdom I have, I was set onto how all of creation informs my being, my choices, and my life and so I symbolically respresent this as a counsel of elemental beings watching over me in my painting!

I struggle daily with a battle of voices from the inner critic and muse, holding me in fear of messing up and pushing me to see what’s possible. I am holding on to trust the most as I lean into the talents I have been giving and continue to unravel the mysteries that is my ancient and futuristic self!!

So I had shared this lovely photograph of my beautiful artist friend and Grace Goddess Marianne Duquette Cuozzo... along with these fabulous words of Glennon Doyle... The post went viral... and now Facebook deleted it and said "I was going too fast"... Ugh... this platform!! Here are these fabulous words and Mariannes gorgeous photo again: “Your body is not your masterpiece — your life is.
It is suggested to us a million times a day that our BODIES are PROJECTS. They aren’t. Our lives are. Our spirituality is. Our relationships are. Our work is.
Stop spending all day obsessing, cursing, perfecting your body like it’s all you’ve got to offer the world. Your body is not your art, it’s your paintbrush. Whether your paintbrush is a tall paintbrush or a thin paintbrush or a stocky paintbrush or a scratched up paintbrush is completely irrelevant. What is relevant is that YOU HAVE A PAINTBRUSH which can be used to transfer your insides onto the canvas of your life — where others can see it and be inspired and comforted by it.
Your body is not your offering. It’s just a really amazing instrument which you can use to create your offering each day. Don’t curse your paintbrush. Don’t sit in a corner wishing you had a different paintbrush. You’re wasting time. You’ve got the one you got. Be grateful, because without it you’d have nothing with which to paint your life’s work. Your life’s work is the love you give and receive — and your body is the instrument you use to accept and offer love on your soul’s behalf. It’s a system.
We are encouraged to obsess over our instrument’s SHAPE — but our body’s shape has no effect on it’s ability to accept and offer love for us. Just none. Maybe we continue to obsess because as long we keep wringing our hands about our paintbrush shape, we don’t have to get to work painting our lives. Stop fretting. The truth is that all paintbrush shapes work just fine — and anybody who tells you different is trying to sell you something. Don’t buy. Just paint.
No wait — first, stop what you are doing and say THANK YOU to your body — right now. Say THANK YOU to your eyes for taking in the beauty of sunsets and storms and children blowing out birthday candles and say THANK YOU to your hands for writing love letters and opening doors and stirring soup and waving to strangers and say THANK YOU to your legs for walking you from danger to safety and climbing so many mountains for you.
Then pick up your instrument and start painting this day beautiful and bold and wild and free and YOU. Paint this day beautiful, bold, wild & free."~

Today I am in the studio painting! This is the start of my prerequisite painting for the Origins training course in Intentional Creativity… the painting is called Legend: ArcheoFutura! Looking at the Origins of where we come from, this layer is about the creation of dark matter. I am so in love and so excited to finally be painting in this space!

So it’s official… I am continuing my studies in Intentional Creativity. This past month I have applied and been accepted into the Musea University to become a Curate for Intentional Creativity.

I already have done the course trainings for Art Teacher where I learned to teach others how to become aware of self and heal thru self expression in art.

Also, I have taken the course to become a Life Coach where I learned to utilize techniques like metacognitive drawing to aid others in solving issues and offering guidance on problem solving for themselves to become truly co-creators of their own stories.

My next course training is called Origins and it starts in September where I will be learn to become a Guardian so that I may teach others on a deeper lever about mending the disconnection of the spirit and the body through the framework of the soul. This is big work! I am so excited to begin in hopes that all of this will help me serve my community of beloveds in the best way possible.

As for the studio… works continues on the remodel. It’s hard and slow going on a building as old as ours and when you are doing the work yourself.

Ramblings from the Midnight Muse,
From the Muse’s perspective…

The wisdom just keeps spilling out of me!
I could hear the childish giddiness in her voice as she spoke
The silent prayers she was offering up
The gratitude
But it seemed kinda funny she was thanking ME…
It was all her!
It was always her
She just needed a place to hold it
Someone to hold on to it
While she was finding the belief in herself she was lacking
How many times has she asked me questions?
Late at night…
Pondering over her life,
Questioning her decisions,
Looking for guidance and some sense of direction
Most of the time I barely had time to blink
To awaken my sleepy eyes
At midnight of all times!
And there she went…
The answers would come flooding in
And she would thank me at the end
As if I was the one who gave her those answers
As if she was really holding out for some great wisdom from beyond
It’s was her, not I
It was always her!
She is the one who held the wisdom within
And I am so glad when she landed on that piece about giving oneself permission,
Permission to believe in herself
Permission to claim her own sovereignty.
That is when the really good conversations started!
And the arguments…
But she always came around
And she always had integrity
I really admired that about her
She cared what others thought…
For a long time it was about being who she thought others thought she should be
But now,
It’s caring that others are finding their own healing too
It’s wondering if there is anything she has to offer that may be of service to another’s greatest and highest good.
To say I’m proud of her is an understatement
That girl has resiliency!
That woman has tenacity!
And for those of you who don’t know
Tenacity is courage, mettle, spirit, resolution, tenacity mean mental or moral strength to resist opposition, danger, or hardship. courage implies firmness of mind and will in the face of danger or extreme difficulty.
She has been giving me all the credit
When all along She is I
She holds the wisdom within
And yet she still has childish giddiness in her voice as she claims into the silent night…
“It just keeps spilling out of me!”

Ramblings from the Midnight Muse

When seeking…
Have I been listening lately?
Have I really been?
Bc I’m feeling a lack of communication
from my muse, my higher self and the universe
Or so I thought…
Only I realize that they inspire me with ideas daily,
They push and prod me to take on things my critic tells me I’m not worthy of…
Too much trouble
Or out of my realm of possibility
“Not true” the muse says to me,
Take the risk
It doesn’t hurt to try
And who knows…
What if you succeed!
The start of a thing is just as important as the doing and the finishing
Sometimes we learn by starting that it’s more than we want to follow thru with
Sometimes we get to the doing and it inspires us with other things we want to try next
And ….
Sometimes the finishing reminds us that we are capable of alot more than we give ourself credit for.
Today my starting of a thing renewed my sense of self, reminded me of my soul works intention and lit a new fire of passion inside me to take the steps towards completion.
I really love this living intentionally
I really am on the path I belong
Walking my own Shero’s journey
The work I’m doing doesn’t feel like work at all
Someone once said to me…
Find what you love, do that
And you will never work a day in your life!

Today is the day of the Historic Tour of Downtown Loretto… 12-5pm, rain or shine! In case of rain there are plenty of indoor activities still going on you can participate in. Please visit these locations to show your support…
*Weathers Park will be the start of the historic tour, cost is $10. souvenir t-shirts are available for $20 and postcards $3 each of 6 for $15. There will also be a few booths offering baked goods and Grub on Hubz will be there selling food. Also Mona Pederson will be hosting a pop up yoga class accepting donations to join, Hunter Abercrombie and Lucas Williams will be playing live music in the gazebo (or in the old city hall if rains) from 3-5pm
*SHERO Studios has historic photos of Loretto on display as well we will be selling souvenir t-shirts and postcards and offering hotdogs, chips, drinks and cookies
*Sacred Heart Church is open for tours guided by Andy Etienne until 4pm today
*Escape from Warehouse 1 & Axe Kicking is open all day for games offering specials and tours
*Pearls… For the Home is open and running sales throughout the day
*Noble Fox will be open if you would like to take a look inside, they are also selling beer and soft drinks during our event.
*Loretto History Museum, ran by Loretto Lift-Up is open for tours and selling ice cream sandwhiches
*There will be many of Loretto’s oldest community members gathered at the old city hall, telling stories of what Loretto was like back in “the good ole days”

As many of you know we have been working tirelessly at renovating the old Hollander Store so that we can open a new business to the public. However, finding out that the renovations must cease until we can replace the roof, has really hurt our hearts as I have been so excited to start teaching others to heal through creativity and awareness of self. We have decided to reach out to our community and see what help others would have to offer us... Any donation you make will allow us to move forward with preserving a part of Loretto's history as well as assuring we can begin our work that gives back to our beloved hometown and more.
