Your membership helps us continue our mission of preserving, protecting, and sharing the history of Madison County for generations to come. ❤️

Memberships also make a wonderful gift for someone who loves our community and its history!

We offer several membership options:

🌾 VENDORS WANTED FOR PIONEER DAY! 🌾

The Madison County Historical Society is excited to invite local vendors, makers, crafters, organizations, and small businesses to join us for our annual Pioneer Day!

📅 Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 12p- 6p

💲 Vendor spaces are completely FREE!

Pioneer Day is a wonderful community tradition, and we’d love to fill the grounds with local vendors for visitors to shop, explore, and enjoy throughout the day.

Whether you sell handmade goods, crafts, locally made products, antiques, baked goods, or have something unique to share with our community, we’d love to have you!

There is NO COST to set up as a vendor.

📚🌽 Step Back in Time at Pioneer Day Camp! 🌽📚

Registration is now open for the 11th Annual Pioneer Day Camp at the Madison County Historical Society Museum!

Children entering 2nd and 3rd grade are invited to spend the morning traveling back in time through hands-on activities, historic games, crafts, and interactive experiences that bring Madison County’s rich history to life. It’s a fun and memorable way for young historians to learn how pioneer families lived, worked, and played.

💲 $40 per child (non-refundable)
👧🧒 Limited to the first 40 registrations, so don’t wait!

📜 Help Bring History to Life! 🏕️

The Madison County Historical Society Museum is seeking sponsors for our annual Pioneer Day Camp—a one-of-a-kind educational experience where local second and third graders step back in time to discover what life was like in Madison County during the late 1700s and 1800s.

Your sponsorship helps provide hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity, preserve our local heritage, and create lasting memories for our community's children.

❤️ Sponsorships of $100 or more will be recognized on each camper's commemorative Pioneer Day Camp t-shirt, making it a wonderful opportunity to support local history while showcasing your business or family.

What a great day at the Madison County Historical Society Museum! ☀️⚾

The Muffins & Diamonds took on our amazing local business owners, and it was a 1860’s vintage game full of laughs, community spirit, and friendly competition. Events like this are what make our small town so special—bringing everyone together to support one another and create lasting memories.

Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer, participate, and enjoy the day with us. We’re so grateful to be part of such a supportive and connected community! A special thank you to our local 4h club for parking cars today.
