🎨 Art Camp Review! 🎨
Our young artists spent three exciting days exploring different mediums and discovering new creative skills.
On Day 1, campers created colorful tie-dye shirts with Mary Sparks and learned the art of simple printmaking.
Day 2 featured acrylic painting with Laurie Albin. The younger campers painted a bright rainbow scene, while the older group created peaceful lake landscapes. Laurie showed the children how artists plan a painting from start to finish and taught them that artists don't paint every leaf individually—they create the impression of trees, reeds, and nature with thoughtful brushstrokes.
On Day 3, Cindy Balthazor introduced campers to the magic of watercolor painting. The children loved watching the colors bloom across the paper using the wet-on-wet technique as they painted colorful bookmarks and imaginative works featuring flowers, dragonflies, dragons, and more.
A huge thank you to Mary, Laurie, and Cindy for sharing their talents, and to all of our campers for making Art Camp such a joyful and creative experience. We hope you enjoy these photos from Art Camp!🖌️
