Indian Trace Marker Program: the marker for Kickapoo Trace crossing #1, located in front of the new McDonald's restaurant in Onalaska, has been replaced! We are so grateful to Todd Grafmiller, B&B Arches Management Co., Inc. for taking the initiative to replace the marker.

Texas A&M Forest Service came out this morning to get updated measurements on our big loblolly pine tree. They were able to use this as a training exercise for additional foresters in the region. Thanks to Matthew Garrison, Livingston District Office, and the other foresters for coming out.
With updated measurements, we will be able to complete the nomination for the Texas Historic Tree registry.
