“A Love Letter to the Yellowstone” is a collaborative exploration of nature, friendship, and shared artistic passion. Erin and Angie’s friendship began when they became coworkers at Glenn’s nearly six years ago. Despite an age gap, Erin and “Auntie” Angie’s friendship deepened in their shared interests of art, the river, and general silliness. It is these qualities that “A Love Letter to the Yellowstone” embodies.

Erin Peterson’s artist statement
Erin Petersen is finishing her degree in Forestry with a minor in Studio Arts at the University of Montana. She has always had a passion for Art, and upon this opportunity, she jumped to be able to show her art in a gallery for the first time. With local artists inspiring her over the years, she has really started to fall into her own individual style, and couldn’t be more excited to grow her passion and skills for a long while longer.

From 1993–2006, he was Resident Director of the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts in Helena. He is co-founder of the International Wild Clay Research Project at MSU, promoting the use of local materials and sustainable practices in the ceramic arts.
