🎨 You Never Know Who Will Walk Into the Studio! 🎨

With studios every day brings new inspiration, collaborations, and connections that make our creative spaces even more special. This week, we had the honor of welcoming Gary Israel, son of the legendary artist Dorothy Gillespie and head of her foundation, to our location!

With our artists’ studios positioned directly in front of multiple signature Dorothy Gillespie pieces on loan from the Boca Raton Museum of Art, it was truly an inspiring moment to hear Gary share stories, ideas, and possibilities for future collaborations.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to activate unique creative spaces inside this incredible office building and to celebrate the artistic legacy that continues to inspire generations.

🎨 Meet Our Newest Artist at Zero Empty Spaces - 🎨

We’re excited to welcome Laronda Haines to our Fort Myers artist community! Originally from the Midwest, Laronda’s passion for art began in her teens and has evolved from oil landscape painting into the mesmerizing world of abstract fluid art. She loves the spontaneous flow of color and form, creating dynamic and vibrant pieces through the magic of fluid painting.

Laronda has recently showcased her work in prestigious juried festivals, including the 40th Cape Coral Art Festival, Uptown Naples Fine Art Festival, and Bonita Springs Art Festival. Now, you can see her work in person at Zero Empty Spaces Fort Myers!

Come meet Laronda and explore her stunning creations during our 2nd Saturday Open Studios, happening this Saturday from 12-5 PM. It’s the perfect opportunity to visit, connect with local artists, and immerse yourself in creativity.

Big thanks to the (Building Owners and Managers Association) Emerging Professionals group for visiting Zero Empty Spaces at the Boca Raton Innovation Campus today! We loved sharing our mission of activating vacant spaces into thriving creative hubs and discussing how commercial real estate and the arts intersect to create value for both property owners and the community.

As we continue to expand, we're especially excited to roll out our Art Wellness in the Workplace program to more office buildings—working alongside BOMA members, property managers, and developers to integrate art into corporate environments. Through artist residencies, creative workshops, mindfulness activities, and social events, our program enhances employee well-being, creativity, engagement, and job satisfaction while making workspaces more dynamic and inspiring.

Zero Empty Spaces (ZES) is excited to share a recap of the grand opening of our 32nd affordable artist studio location, our second in , inside Simon Malls's Tyrone Square Mall.

The event took place on Saturday, February 22nd 2025, bringing together the ZES management team, seven talented local resident artists, and members of the community to celebrate the launch of this new creative space. A special ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at 6 PM to mark the occasion.

Located at 6901 22nd Ave N #740, St. Petersburg, FL 33710 (Dillard's Wing), this new space provides 7 artists with affordable studios where they can create, collaborate, and showcase their work.

Zero Empty Spaces is a rapidly growing affordable artist studio and vacancy management company that transforms vacant commercial spaces into thriving creative hubs. By providing accessible and affordable workspaces for artists, ZES fosters cultural growth and community engagement in the cities it serves.
