Art Group Gallery - Pleasant Ridge Art Group Gallery is a collective of talented local artists offering original works. The Art Group Gallery is located in Pleasant Ridge Town Center.

Paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, pastel, and batik are available in addition to pottery and glass. Suite 910, Little Rock, Arkansas. We feature local artists-- Shirley Anderson, Loren Bartnicke, Clarence Cash, Virmarie DePoyster, Shelley Gentry. Louise Harris, Terri Haugen, James Hayes, Greg Lahti, Fletcher Larkin, Sean LeCrone, Michelle Gunter Moore, Ned Perme, Ann Presley

, Vonda Rainey, Bob Snider, Holly Tilley, Donna Twyford, Marie Weaver, Lori Weeks and Patricia Wilkes. What sets the gallery apart is that the artists own and operate the gallery. Collectors are able to buy directly from the artists, visit with them about their inspiration and it makes the work affordable. Pleasant Ridge Town Center is located at 11525 Cantrell Road. The Art gallery hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 11 - 5p and Sunday afternoons 1-5p. The Art Group is a Gallery with a working studio, open to the public seven days a week or by appointment. It offers a wide variety of local, original fine art at affordable prices. The artists are available to do commissioned works. Our satellite gallery is located inside the Downtown Marriott Statehouse Convention Center. Your guide to September with Art Group Gallery is here! This month may not look too busy, but we promise the gallery is always worth a visit. Share this with your friends and save it so you don't forget!

Starting next week, the gallery will be hosting Richard Stephens for a watercolor workshop from September 8th through 10th. Although registration is closed, we wanted to remind everyone who is registered that the event is coming up!

From September 11th through 13th, AGG artists will be set up in the Glass Box at the AMFA Art Market. Join us all weekend long to shop a special collection of work by our artists and see what many other talented artists have to offer. Don’t worry, the gallery will still be open!

Lastly, although it’s not technically an event in September, we thought you’d want to save the date! Get ready for Matt McLeod’s solo show, "Unexpected Perspective," opening October 1st. More details to come, but save the date now.

Curious about what else is on the agenda this month? Stop by and see for yourself. We offer a variety of classes each week, and you never know what artist you might find mid-project during their shift at the gallery.

From Details to Dreamscapes" in the alcove at the gallery before 5:00 P.M. While the works aren't going anywhere, it's your last chance to see them in the alcove as part of our August Featured Artist display.

We’re excited to share that we will be participating in the upcoming AMFA Art Market, taking place September 11–13!

For one weekend only, you can shop contemporary works from Art Group Gallery artists, as well as dozens of other booths filled with jewelry, paintings, prints, and more! The AMFA Art Market offers you the chance to discover more works by AGG artists, learn more about us, build your art collection, and more, all at the fine arts museum.

Since the AMFA Art Market falls on the same weekend as our usual 2nd Friday Art Night and Extended Hours, we’ll be replacing our regular event with a weekend at the museum! We’re excited to switch things up and see you at the AMFA Art Market, where you can find us in The Glass Box.

Look closely, or you'll miss it - "CLOSE ENCOUNTERS ... FROM DETAILS TO DREAMSCAPES" is on view at the gallery. As our August Featured Artist, Shelley Gentry has an entire section of the gallery dedicated to her works.

"In a world in which we are constantly bombarded with sensory “noise,” it can be difficult to slow down and truly take in our surroundings." Shelley's art is "an invitation to reconnect with everyday experiences and objects, celebrating the beauty they offer."
