Art Group Gallery - Pleasant Ridge Art Group Gallery is a collective of talented local artists offering original works. The Art Group Gallery is located in Pleasant Ridge Town Center.

Paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, pastel, and batik are available in addition to pottery and glass. Suite 910, Little Rock, Arkansas. We feature local artists-- Shirley Anderson, Loren Bartnicke, Clarence Cash, Virmarie DePoyster, Shelley Gentry. Louise Harris, Terri Haugen, James Hayes, Greg Lahti, Fletcher Larkin, Sean LeCrone, Michelle Gunter Moore, Ned Perme, Ann Presley, Vonda Rainey, Bob Snider, Holly Tilley, Donna Twyford, Marie Weaver, Lori Weeks and Patricia Wilkes. What sets the gallery apart is that the artists own and operate the gallery. Collectors are able to buy directly from the artists, visit with them about their inspiration and it makes the work affordable. Pleasant Ridge Town Center is located at 11525 Cantrell Road. The Art gallery hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 11 - 5p and Sunday afternoons 1-5p. The Art Group is a Gallery with a working studio, open to the public seven days a week or by appointment. It offers a wide variety of local, original fine art at affordable prices. The artists are available to do commissioned works. Our satellite gallery is located inside the Downtown Marriott Statehouse Convention Center. Sundays are the perfect day to take a moment and read the latest issue of Little Rock City Lifestyle! This month’s issue centers on food, how it brings people together, and the sense of connection it creates. For this special “Foodie Issue,” Little Rock City Lifestyle chose AGG artist Holly Tilley's work, Mile High Pies, for the cover.

To quote Stephanie Hasbrouck, publisher and writer of the issue: "Holly's painting is a colorful, heartfelt tribute to the legendary pies of the Shangri-La Café, a Lake Ouachita institution that has been serving generations of families for 70 years. Inside, we share the story of this beloved destination, where the food and the setting are comforting, and the kindness of the owners has kept customers coming back year after year."

Thank you to everyone who joined us for last night's 2nd Friday Extended Hours at Art Group Gallery event! It was a wonderful evening, with great models, hot pizza, cold b**r, and lots of art. We couldn't have asked for a better night. A special thank you to our models, who we hope will come back for future visits! This was our first Life Drawing Night, and we hope to have many more!

Sad you missed out last night? Every month, we invite you to experience the gallery after hours in a casual, drop-in setting. On the 2nd Friday of each month, a gallery artist (or several!) will host extended evening hours, offering opportunities to see live demos, hear artist talks about current shows, and enjoy other special moments happening in the gallery. Each event will feature something a little different, so there’s always a reason to return. Save the date for the next one on November 13th.

Whether you like Mondays or not, it’s always fun to look ahead to the weekend. Especially since this coming Friday is the 2nd Friday! This month, join us on Friday, October 9th, from 5 to 8 pm for our monthly 2nd Friday Extended Hours at Art Group Gallery.

We’ll have a live drawing session with four live models, and AGG artists will be drawing and painting right in the gallery. You’re welcome to drop by and watch the works come to life, or sketch along with us. This free event is open to all and will include pizza, b**r, and a great chance to experience the gallery after hours.

October is officially here, and we've got your guide to the month at AGG ready! Share this with your friends and save it so you don't miss anything.

Before we jump into what's coming up, we want to say thank you to everyone who joined us for Matt McLeod's solo show, Unexpected Perspective, Opening Reception. If you missed the reception last night, the show is on view through the end of the month, so come see it in person!
