Today at 1:00 PM, we gather for Faith Over Fear: A Survivor’s Journey Through Breast Cancer.

Our speaker is a two-time breast cancer survivor with 18 years of experience navigating the realities of cancer, treatment, recovery and survivorship.

She will share her story, the resources that helped her, the role that faith and art played in her journey, and practical ways family and friends can support someone facing cancer.

Cancer can bring fear, but fear does not have to have the final word.

Come spend the afternoon with us. Bring a friend, a family member, a survivor, a caregiver or someone who simply needs to hear a message of hope.

For our October 21 Wisdom Wednesdays session, our speaker will share how art became an important part of her journey as a two-time breast cancer survivor.

Along with medical care, nutrition, family, friends, and faith, creativity gave her another way to process what she was experiencing and keep moving forward.

Her story is a powerful reminder that support can come from many places, and sometimes the things that bring us peace, purpose, and joy become part of the healing process too.

This conversation is not only for those who have faced cancer. It is also for the family members, friends, caregivers, and loved ones who want to know how to truly support someone going through it.

Today at Wisdom Wednesdays, we are talking about grief, love and what it means to keep going after a life-changing loss.

Local musician and first-time author Genine LaTrice Perez will share the deeply personal story of losing her oldest daughter, Olivia, one day before Olivia’s 20th birthday, and the journey that followed.

Genine has continued to live, parent, create and make music while remembering Olivia every day. Now she is sharing that experience in her first book, I Am Still Her Momma, scheduled for release November 3.

Join us this afternoon for a heartfelt conversation about remembrance, resilience and finding a way forward without forgetting those we love.

Advance ticket sales end Tuesday, October 6 at 11:59 PM — and there will be NO ticket sales at the door.

Tickets are $40 and include a copy of The Perilous Fight and a photo with CoLin.
