Watching an old episode of The Andy Griffith Show -- when the big motion picture company came to town and the town council decided it needed to cut down the last "unsightly" landmark. The Old Oak Tree was going to be cut down to satisfy the motion picture company, only to learn that The Old Oak Tree was the thing that made the town charming. Too bad our Little Falls City Council didn't see this a few years ago . . .old cherished things don't grow on trees.
