Said corporation is

organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. Military History and what it means to America. To provide military historical information, education to the public and to other institutions, and for all people served in the community.

The Maine Bureau of Veterans’ Services invites volunteers and community members to join us this Friday and Saturday at our Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemeteries for annual flag placement activities in preparation of Memorial Day.

Flag placement events will take place at:

📍5/22 at 9:00 a.m. - Central Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (Civic Center Drive): 143 Blue Star Avenue, Augusta

📍5/22 at 9:00 a.m. - Central Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (Mt. Vernon Road): 163 Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta

📍5/23 at 10:00 a.m. - Northern Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery: 37 Lombard Road, Caribou

📍5/23 at 10:00 a.m. - Southern Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery: 83 Stanley Road, Springvale
