Thank you so much to everyone who braved the Nor’Eastah yesterday for this fun afternoon of painting to help raise a little money for the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. 💜 it’s always a good time, and this one meant something a little more.

To all those who have been unfortunately affected by this cause, those who have suffered or continue to struggle still, those who grieve and those who fear … Know You are not alone - and if you ever need a non-judgmental ear or shoulder, I’m around 💜

Join us for a laid back afternoon of Painting with Casey of Saltitude & Color Me Casey - but this time we will be painting for a PURPOSE!

As many of you know, September is National Su***de Prevention Month. This is something that has unfortunately touched the lives of many loved ones around me. For each ticket sold to this event, half of the proceeds will be donated to the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. (AFSP) Please visit https://afsp.org/ to check out some of the amazing resources and opportunities provided by this organization.

With guidance and creative inspiration- we will create a beautiful butterfly or dragonfly, with an optional Semi-colon as it’s body. A semicolon is a symbol of hope, survival, and mental health awareness that represents a decision to continue living rather than end one’s life. Both butterflies and dragonflies symbolize deep personal growth, change, and self-realization. These creatures bring immense peace, symbolism and hope to many.

These will be pre-sketched out on Wooden Panels for us to design any which way we want. Please let me know which you would like when singing up so that I may prepare your canvas for you ahead of time.
