The Limon Heritage Museum & Railroad Park Park is located in Limon, Colorado. We're open Memorial Day through Labor Day: Thursdays through Saturdays, 1 to 7pm and Sundays 1 to 4pm. The museum is a 5 acre complex that includes a restored 1910 railroad depot, 3 rail cars (including a caboose and a dining car), and a one-room school house built in 1894. There are also antique windmills and farm machi

nery scattered around the property and there's an exhibit building housing many more historical displays.

Are we open on Labor Day? You bet! In fact, we'll be open all weekend. We're open Saturday & Sunday from 1pm to 4pm and on Monday (Labor Day) from 10am to 4pm.
REMEMBER, LABOR DAY IS OUR LAST DAY OF THE SEASON!

The heat is hanging on, but the summer season is winding down. However, you still have a bit of time to visit the Limon Heritage Museum & Railroad Park! The last official day of our operating season is Labor Day. So drop on by! Hours are 10am to 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday; 1pm to 4pm Saturday & Sunday. We’re closed every Wednesday. Come out and discover the life and legends of the plains!

Take a trip to yesteryear! The last official day of our operating season is Labor Day. So you still have time for a visit!
Hours are 10am to 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday; 1pm to 4pm Saturday & Sunday. We’re closed every Wednesday. As always, there is no admission charge. And we’ll even throw in some nostalgia and fond memories for free!

Come celebrate! It’s our 35th anniversary and you’re invited to commemorate this special occasion with us! Stop by anytime between 3 and 4pm on Saturday, August 1st, in the Main Exhibit Building. Sign our anniversary card, enjoy some cake, and take a look at the Colorado Central Plains quilt. The quilt was made to celebrate Colorado’s 150th birthday, which is also this Saturday!
