Playthings & Pastimes Toyd & Dolls Playthings & Pastimes has a sampling of dolls and toys from the early 1800’s to today.

My hope is to show how toys have changed but have also stayed the same. The earliest doll is from the 1850’s and one of the newest is a Robert Toner’s Betsy McCall’s whose picture was used on a postage stamp! We have a large collection of ethnic dolls from all parts of the world. Our family dolls, (dolls that were my grandmother’s and mother’s) change their activities with the season,

We enjoy

visits from Girl Scouts, Literature groups, children, and other groups interested in dolls. There are some repair services available, the dolls themselves or very good pictures are needed to give an estimate
