Fort Ligonier extends our sincere thoughts and prayers to Representative Mike Reese's family and colleagues from across the Commonwealth. Mike was a wonderful friend and loyal supporter of Fort Ligonier's, the Ligonier Valley community and all Pennsylvanians. Battle of Fort Ligonier

We would like to thank everyone who made our commemoration weekend so special and successful! We can't wait to see you next year!

Today we remember the battle that occurred October 12, 1758 on the anniversary 262 years later. The battle began at roughly 11 o'clock as the French force and their native allies came down from a nearby hillside and attacked the grass guards.
