🎨 Art Educators of Sullivan County Annual Exhibition!

Each year, art educators from across Sullivan County come together to share their own creative work and celebrate the important connection between teaching, creating, and inspiring.
Featuring current and former local art educators, this exhibition offers a glimpse beyond the classroom and into the artists who help inspire the next generation.

COSPLAY COSTUME & PROP WORKSHOP IS STILL GOING

The creativity is in full swing! Kids are designing, sculpting, building, experimenting, and bringing their own ideas to life. From cosplay costumes and props to whatever their imagination comes up with! Parents & guardians are getting in on the fun too! ❤️

SUPPLIES WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Paint, glue, clay, cardboard, EVA foam & other basics
• Computer + 3D printer access for digital creation
• Fabrics, sewing supplies, soldering kits & other new mediums

Donations are WELCOME but never required to participate. We’re operating on an honor system: if you use materials, we strongly encourage you to help replace what you use through supplies or a donation toward the cost.

Liberty Storytellers Salon in partnership with Liberty Museum & Arts Center

Join a supportive, welcoming community for memoir, personal essays, poetry, and capturing memories before they fade.

This is a space to find and strengthen your unique voice through guided writing prompts, tutorials, and techniques while connecting with fellow storytellers locally and internationally.

FREE Movie Prop and Cosplay Workshop

The Liberty Museum and Arts Center is opening its doors and inviting the community to come and be part of the action! We want to encourage all of Liberty to not only, come and see the wonderful exhibits planned this year, but to help create the exhibits as well. We will, provide the basic materials and teach new skills during the workshop and at the end, participants creations will be displayed at the museum!

Free Mother’s Day Luncheon at the Liberty Museum!

This Sunday, May 10th, the Liberty Museum will be holding a Mother’s Day Brunch and Cabaret, a potluck extravaganza featuring dishes inspired by the mothers of the contributing cooks. Music will be provided by Steve Schwartz Friends, and Calla Sun.
The brunch is part of the Museum’s opening 2026 exhibition, Reflections of Mother, a multi-media and multi-disciplinary show with artworks, poetry and artifacts by regional artists, all evocative of Mothers. Admission is free and the doors open at noon. Music begins at 1PM.
The Museum is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays , from noon until 4PM. The Museum is located at 46 South Main Street in the village of Liberty, across from the Liberty Movie Theater. For more information, or to bring a dish of your own, call Naomi at (845) 807-6055 or (845) 807-6656.
