Such wonderful presentations of young people from the area about Black heroes from our past and present and a fabulous presentation of jazz dancing by young dancers from Sapphire Studio. Today we welcomed the 3rd and 4th graders as well as kindergartners from our local elementary school, Liberty Elementary! Last week we hosted the 1st, 2nd, and 5th graders!
We pulled off doing indoor and outdoor tours, a craft, and reading the book Walking Ribbon, which features historical components of Liberty. Thank you to everyone who made this possible and for the school bringing the classes to us!
