We’re very lucky to have some beautiful photo prints by talented photographer John Mickler! These stunning black and white portraits create a world of drama and romanticism, with compelling subjects and boldly contrasting light and shadow. Be sure to visit ArtHouse Kentucky to see these and more in person (my snapshots of these gorgeous photos don’t do them justice, some things you’ve got to see in person) and check out John Mickler to see more of his brilliant work!

“Sunny Day”, by Melanie Osborne, hits differently—-looking at the gentle interplay of color and light, it speaks of something deeply embedded in the viewer—-a warm feeling, memories of love and home, something intangible but powerful. What do you feel when you look at this?
Available at ArtHouse Kentucky! Open 10-5pm today. Melanie Osborne Wisdom

From the hands of LaNora Long, these mixed-media works ($440 each) — “Cleopatra,” “Relaxing,” and “Black Queen” — combine drawn and painted elements with dimensional floral details to create scenes that feel imaginative, intimate, and unmistakably her own.

Each piece has a story. Each one has presence. And each deserves to be seen up close.

Come discover these and more original works by LaNora at ArtHouse Kentucky.

Wood art has a way of bringing warmth, craftsmanship, and character into a space like few other mediums can.

From richly grained functional pieces to sculptural works that celebrate the beauty of the material itself, wood art connects us to both nature and the maker’s hand.

We’re proud to feature the work of two of our talented wood artists today - Mike Egan and Will Atwood - whose pieces each offer their own distinct take on this timeless art form.

If you're looking for something that doesn't feel mass produced, come discover a piece with character, craftsmanship and a story behind it.

Come discover the art of Kentucky.
