Back in my Army National Guard days in the late '60's and early '70's our convoy would rumble through Leslie, GA on our way to Ft. Stewart, GA from Columbus, GA. I remember seeing the sign for the Georgia Rural Telephone Museum those times. Ten years ago I was in, through, or near Leslie and made a point to visit this very nice museum. I very highly recommend that all my friends and those who read this to visit the museum for a very enjoyable, educational, and informative experience.
Looking for information about an old telephone we have. After everything opens up again, we will contact you again. Thanks
Happy Friday from all of us here at the Georgia Rural Telephone Museum and Citizens Telephone Company, Inc.!
My friend Ted and I sure enjoyed our visit on 9-7-2017. Thanks for letting us take our time and see the museum at our own pace. And it was cool that the pay phone at the Citizens Central Office across the street still worked! Everyone was really nice to us. :-) !
Well worth a visit if you are in the area!! Thanks to my friends for taking me there.
