Huge shout out to our Speakers/ tour guides- Dexter Mengel and Dave Ray, Eshelman Transportation for use of the bus and the bus driver this year- Leandra Karasack, as well as our President Robin Schappell for coming up with this year's theme of Colonial Properties and all the work she put in.

Feel free to post any additional pictures you may have taken.

A bit of Leesport history

Then & Now: The Leesport Hotel along Centre Ave / Pottsville Pike / route 61 as it appeared around the turn of the 20th century and today. Newspaper archives date it back to the 1870s, though it wouldn't be surprising if the structure is significantly older. Today it appears to be apartments.

What a great afternoon at the LAHS Holiday Luncheon. Thank you all for attending.
