The local Daughter's of the American Revolution Chapter are raising money to fix the roof and some other parts of the Massy Harbison Cabin across from Valley High School.

We are fortunate to be able to donate to this cause, as Massy Harbison played a vital role in Allegheny Township's past.

We are just 3 short weeks away from our Farm Tour. Below are photos of Tunnel Hill Farm, one of the stops on the tour. Tunnel Hill is a beautiful working farm nestled in Allegheny Township. The farm is best know for its Long Horn Steers and Highland Cattle. While on the tour you will be able to see all of the animals on this farm as well as the beautiful farmhouse.

Allegheny Township Historical Society is sponsoring Rebecca Miller, a well known speaker on genealogy, to speak about how to start your tree. There will be a question and answer after the talk. Are you an Allegheny Township resident and do you have one of the historic homes in our area? We have an opportunity for you to recognize your home with a historic house plaque.

There are applications posted on the bulletin board at the Allegheny Township building. We will also be happy to mail you an application, just send us a private message with your mailing address.

Historic Hanna's Town Bus Tour!
