Slow Track Saturday underway!!

And for all our gluten free customers, we’ve listened to your feedback and have gone back to our yeasted brioche dough for our cinnamon rolls and klobasnik. Still all organic flours, sugars, pumpkin, apple, etc, but the gluten free sourdough just wasn’t working like we’d hoped.

This Saturday’s gluten free options include Pumpkin Apple Spice Cinnamon Rolls with a Browned Butter Icing, and our Klobasniky in all three flavors (Plain Jane, Cheddar, Pepper Jack & Jalapeño)…though it’s taking me a while to post and the Jalapeño pepper jack are already sold out.

And to all our full force gluten lovers out there—we’ve been using Barton Springs Mill organic fresh milled flours and wheat berries in our breads already, but today have introduced them in our sourdough Brown Butter Cinnamons Rolls and our new Apple Spice Buns 🤎🍎🍏🤎

You’ll notice that even the -00- white wheat breads have a slight tan tint to them…that means pure goodness contained within! No bleaching, not bromeated. Currently we’ve been enjoying using “Stardust” for our white sourdough, a modern hard white wheat milled and sifted to -00- for a classic sourdough sandwich loaf. All extra white sourdough are sold out, but we may have one available after 3 today…

This week our fresh milled whole wheat sourdough bread is a blend of heritage Rouge de Bordeaux hard red and modern Yecora Rojo hard red…all extra loaves are sold but you can still enjoy it on a custom made sandwich (kitchen open until 3pm).

Our soft flaky Sourdough Brioche loaves are sold out as well….

If you prefer to make your own baked goods, we stock a nice selection of Barton Springs Mill flours and wheat berries—many available in bulk, so scoop a little or a lot!

Fresh Knolle Dairy Farm milk in stock, straight from the dairy Wednesday (got a story up earlier but I’m a bit behind on the official post!)🤍🥛🤍

Their quesadilla cheeses are restocked as well! 🧀

Knolle’s Quesadilla Fuerte got a special place on my breakfast sandwich today—Gluten friendly Sourdough (“Roasted Garlic Explosion” limited number available in store today; our gluten free organic flour blend, roasted organic garlic, organic onion, organic poppy seeds, organic sesame seeds) +egg and avocado 😋

And I’ve completely dropped the ball on posting our new coffee flavors last week and this week—new this week is Honey Graham! Local honey, organic brown sugar, cinnamon, and a touch of vanilla. 🍯

Last week we added Spiced Apple (apples, apple c***r, brown sugar, and cinnamon), which pairs great with a caramel drizzle 🍏🍎🍏

Other fresh made coffee syrups available in-house are Pumpkin Spice🧡🤎, Vanilla Bean, Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Caramel, and Mocha. We also have sugar free versions of Vanilla Bean and Mocha (both sweetened with “Stevia in the Raw”)

🤎☕️🤎We have been making these fresh syrups for our in house coffees and lattes, but are these syrups something you all would be interested in being able to purchase for use at home if we were to bottle it for sale? 🤎☕️🤎

For our gluten free friends, just a reminder that our kitchen is not dedicated gluten free, though we try to minimize the possibility of cross-contamination. We utilize our own blend of organic certified gluten free flours to create tasty sourdough or yeasted breads 🍞🥖
