This coming Saturday will be the Regular Last Saturday Photo Editing workshop.

The subject is: Editing in Lightroom & Photoshop. We will learn the basics of Adobe products of Lightroom, and Photoshop. Bring your laptop, and installed free versions of these programs to the class. Bring raw or j-peg image files to work on your editing process.

The class will be from 9-11:30 a.m. at Icicle Studios, 11734 Suite C Highway 2, just east of Leavenworth and adjacent to Sage Mountain Natural Foods.

Reed Carlson will be continuing the Winter series of classes for beginning and intermediate photographers this coming Saturday March 16th.

The subject is: Photographing your Artwork; Copy Techniques for Portfolio and Media Presentation. This class is for artists who would like to learn the skills of photographic copying of their own artwork. The digital camera has simplified our effort in copy work, but lighting is still the key for good presentations. Special techniques will be covered for both 2 & 3 dimensional work. Color balance, artwork handling, and camera options will be discussed. Lighting options for the studio and on-location work will be demonstrated. Editing in Adobe programs such as Lightroom will be shown. Bring your laptop for hands-on learning.

This is for artists in various media, wanting to learn and trade skills with their peers. Hope to see you there!

An overview of camera techniques will be covered in this workshop. Exposure, Lens & Shutter settings, color balance, file types, & maintenance will be covered. Students must bring a camera, and their instruction manual. Learning the basics of camera controls will be a helpful requisite for additional classes offered, such as editing, printing & publishing and general portrait and nature photography.

Hi Artists,

Artists: Just a reminder the Artist Drawing Session will be tomorrow eveningTuesday the 21st. We will meet at my studio at 6:30 next to Sage Mountain Natural Foods, and then go to the Waterfront Park to have an Out of Doors Session! We have a wonderful model...Bring a portable chair if you like, comfortable shoes and maybe a jacket. We will draw till the light ends...
Here is the rest of the details: The admission will be done by donation; I would suggest $8-10 for the evening.

Please bring your own media and easels if needed.
