Hello Le Mars !! Please do not miss our FunFest celebration for Halloween on October 31 (Saturday) from 1 to 2:30PM during downtown trick-or-treating on 1st Street SE. Be ready for Pumpkin Painting, Crocheted Halloween critters, Facial painting and win some Raffle prizes. Enjoy incredible edibles and beverages from Mini Susie's and Sippin' 712! We LOVE Halloween in Le Mars! Bring your kids and paint pumpkins! Throw in some special extras -- face painting, Sippin 712, Mini Susie's, Crocheted Creatures, and some spooky music and FUN happens.

Join us for an afternoon of Halloween festivities in partnership with the Le Mars Public Library and the Le Mars Arts Center!

📚 Stop by the Library for their annual Books for Treats event, then head over to the Arts Center for their Fall Fun Fest, featuring pumpkin painting, food vendors, and more!

Bring the kids, wear your costumes, and enjoy an afternoon of Halloween Fun in downtown Le Mars. Participating businesses will be handing out candy and treats along Central Ave.

A Whiterock revival

Terri Parish McGaffin is one of our favorite artists. She'll be showing art pieces painted when she was Artist-in-Residence at C**n Rapids' Whiterock Conservancy during "An Invitation to Whiterock," an exhibition now through Nov. 7 at the Le Mars Arts Center, 200 Central Ave. SE, Le Mars. There will be a special opening reception from 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday at the Arts Center.

This week feels like fall, and the images and sensations of autumn are also filling our gallery walls!

We are excited to showcase the paintings of Terri Parish McGaffin: “An Invitation to Whiterock”. Please join us in welcoming Terri with an Opening Reception this Thursday, September 17, from 5-7pm.

This series is based on Terri’s time as the Artist-in-Residence at Whiterock Conservancy in 2021 and 2024. The paintings masterfully illustrate Iowa’s beautiful natural settings, especially this time of year.
