Mr. Jerry "DJ" West holding his copy of The Indigenous Biography of Cleo Kelly. The story of his long time business associate and friend Mr. Clifford "Schoolboy" Kelly, the founder and owner of Kelly's Nite Limit in Lawtey, Florida.

Over 55 years ago, Jerry West opened DJ's Records and Tapes in Jacksonville, Florida. Today the iconic Westside music store is known as DJ's Record Shop. He was a ticket agent for Ticket Masters and Kelly's Nite Limit for over 30 years.

Jerry West was also an Agent who rated music for Billboard Magazine, Jet Magazine, and The Urban Network. He received six Platinum Sale Awards presented to him by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). He also received special recognition awards from Billboard Hot 100, Billboard Hot Black 100 and The RAL (RUSH Associated Labels).

Mr. Kelly's new biography, written by his eldest granddaughter is registered with The Library of Congress and available in three formats on Amazon.com

The book cover was inspired by the blue and gold checkered dance floor installed at Kelly's Nite Limit in 1990.

Mr. Willie Brown, holding a copy of The Indigenous Biography of Cleo Kelly. Its the story and ancestral history of Clifford Kelly Sr, the founder and owner of Kelly's Nite Limit. Mr. Brown aka "Cooter Brown" was the Manager of Kelly's Nite Limit in Lawtey, Florida for nineteen years (1985-2004). The book was accepted for registration with the Library of Congress. It is now available on Amazon.com

Mr. Lee Parker, holds a copy of "The Indigenous Biography of Cleo Kelly", the story of his business partner and friend. Mr. Parker is a professional Concert Promoter from Jackson, Mississippi. During the 1970s, he invested with Clifford Kelly to showcase recording artists in Lawtey at Kelly's Nite Limit. He was an Independent Consultant for T&K Records, Malaco Records, Capital Records, and JIVE Records. He is a graduate of Jackson State University, Founder of the Downhome Blues Festival and The Brimstone Music Group. On May 10, 2023, in Memphis, Tennessee, Mr. Lee Parker was inducted into the Blues Music Hall of Fame as a Master Blues Promoter.
The Blues Hall of Fame honors those who have made the Blues timeless through performance, documentation, and recording. Since its inception in 1980, The Blues Foundation has inducted new members annually into the Blues Hall of Fame for their historical contribution, impact and overall influence on Blues music.
