What happens when your favorite animal shelter, a beloved local brewery, and a talented local artist come together to support the animals of Douglas County? The annual Lawrence Humane + Lawrence Beer Co. Cutest Crowler Contest, of course!

For the fourth year in a row, we're bringing back the super popular Cutest Crowler Contest! ✨And....we're shaking things up this year by featuring TWO dogs and TWO cats!✨

As we've done in the past, the Grand Prize winners will be the one cat and one dog whose entries receive the most votes in their respective categories at the close of the voting period. These animals' images will be illustrated by this year's Crowler Contest Artist, Alec Joler from Art Of The Groom, and will be featured on Lawrence Beer Company crowlers during the summer of 2025. By getting the most votes for your pet, you will be able to guarantee that they will appear on the LBC crowlers!

And this year, instead of having a Runner-Up category, we will have a dog and cat raffle so that an additional dog and cat can be featured on the crowlers and EVERYONE has a chance to win!

Every dog entry (other than the Grand Prize winning dog) will be entered into the dog raffle and every cat entry (other than the Grand Prize winning cat) will be entered into the cat raffle. Each entrant gets one spot in their respective raffle so that everyone has an equal and fair chance of winning. The cat and dog entries picked in their respective raffles will ALSO be illustrated by Alec and will appear on LBC crowlers this summer!

Participation is easy – just choose your favorite picture of your dog or cat, upload it, and then spread the word to your family, friends, and coworkers, encouraging them to vote for your pet! The entry fee is $5 and each vote is just $1. Stay on top of the competition by watching the Leaderboard and encouraging your community to vote for your pal so they don't fall behind!
