Blueprint of Sparks is a mural painted inside Tony Armstrong Amphitheatre in Sparks, Nevada. Created to preserve and celebrate the city's culture and history, the mural uses the concept of a blueprint as its foundation. Just as blueprints are essential to bringing structures to life, they serve as the backdrop for telling the story of Sparks.

Each panel highlights a different part of the city's identity, from its historic railroad roots to the Sparks Marina, illustrating the industries that have shaped the community. Blueprint of Sparks celebrates how towns like Sparks help build America, through innovation and a strong sense of community.

I’ll be at this event on June 27, 2026, for my mural unveiling.

Join us for Celebrate Sparks! — a free, family-friendly celebration and mural unveiling to honor the history and community spirit of the City of Sparks.

As part of America 250 initiative, this event will include the big reveal of a new mural inside the Tony Armstrong Amphitheater by Ely-based artist Jamie Vincek! We’ll hear from the artist about what inspired the mural, enjoy live music, local vendors, food trucks, Great Basin beer, and free historical tours provided by the Sparks Heritage Museum.
