ArtWalk at Third Story means new artists in the Flat File!
Our Flat File is a case of drawers featuring unframed, original works on paper.

The work has all arrived and we can confidently say you want to see these works in person!

For ArtWalk, the work will be on display on the gallery tables. After ArtWalk, the art goes into the drawers: one drawer per artist. Anytime you visit, you are welcome to take a browse through the files.

We have extended hours this weekend for ArtWalk:
Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm
Sunday, 12 pm to 4 pm

Don’t forget to ask us about the scavenger hunt when you arrive!

There is an ArtWalk scavenger hunt!

And when you complete the scavenger hunt you can enter a raffle to win a $250 voucher good for a single purchase of $250 or more at any Lancaster City Art Collective member gallery!

ArtWalk maps and scavenger hunt forms available at all participating galleries, restaurants and retailers!

All participating ArtWalk locations will have ArtWalk numbers in their windows or on their doors.

We are getting excited about Lancaster ArtWalk!

The highlight of the ArtWalk weekend at Third Story is a welcoming of new artists to our Flat File.

Unframed original artworks on paper by:

And we are especially excited that ArtWalk festivities include a scavenger hunt this year:
Along with the paper maps provided at each location, visitors will find a list of clues. Answer 20 and return your completed clue sheet to be entered in a raffle to win a voucher for $250 that can be redeemed on a purchase at one of several different downtown galleries.

Pumpkins and Ghosts!

Celebrate the fall season with a fun, hands-on clay workshop! Participants will learn basic hand-building techniques to create their own pumpkin and a little ghost. You’ll have the opportunity to add your own personal touches and paint your pumpkin with colorful underglazes.

No previous clay experience is necessary. This workshop is designed for beginners and anyone looking to get creative while enjoying a relaxed afternoon of making. Each participant will have the opportunity to personalize their pieces with their own shapes, textures, and details.

GALLERY HIGHLIGHT:
Alicia Byler’s created an installation to display her work in our gallery.
Filled with objects of protection, ghostly paintings, mysterious collages and the faces of women who refuse to flinch at your gaze, this corner will draw you in and ask you to grapple with melancholy and the things we inherit from this who came before.

We are open extended hours on October 2 for First Friday, 10 am to 8 pm. We would love to see you!

The “Museum of Forgotten Relatives” is on view through October 31.
