As a reminder: The event is outside and will happen rain or shine. There will be a tent with side panels, so guests can enjoy the evening in the orchard. Please note that access to the 1719 Museum grounds involves walking on grass and may involve walking under trees, including walnut trees. Guests should plan to dress according to the weather and outdoor conditions.

So many languages are spoken in the Mennonite Visitors Center on a daily basis. People from all over the world come to experience the Biblical Tabernacle Experience and learn more about the Anabaptists. We invite you to come and learn how you can be a crucial and pivotal part of this ministry by becoming a Biblical Tabernacle host.

We are in the middle of the Ten Days of Repentance, the ten-day period of the Hebrew calendar from Rosh HaShanah—the first day of Tishrei—through Yom Kippur that, according to Rabbinic tradition, is a concentrated season for teshuvah (תְּשׁוּבָה, təshûvāh, 'repentance'), tefillah (תְּפִלָּה, tĕp̄lillāh, 'prayer'), tzedakah (צְדָקָה, ṣĕdāqāh, 'righteousness', 'charity'), and ethical hiddush (חִדּוּשׁ, ḥiddûš, 'renewal') during which God's judgment is written and sealed for every individual.

In recognition of the season, we are offering a 10% sale on all shofars and menorahs for the months of September and October.

Have you ever come into the Visitors Center and heard one of these blown? In honor of the Jewish holidays of Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah, we are having a 10% sale on all shofars and menorahs in our store in the months of September and October.

Rosh Hashanah signifies the Jewish New Year and Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement. The ten days between the two are traditionally known as "Aseret Yemei Teshuvah," or the Ten Days of Repentance.

Thanks to everyone for such an enjoyable Bookworm Frolic this year. We're always amazed at some of the stories we hear from people who come and discover new things.

One guest mentioned that she likes to come every year and buy as many bibles as she can so she can put them in little libraries all across Lancaster County. Another young couple found a copy of "A Nonviolent God" by J. Denny Weaver because they wanted to rediscover their faith.

The Bookworm Frolic can be so much more than a book sale. When a little girl finds a bible she can't wait to read, it makes all the hard work worth it.
