After 156 First Fridays (give or take a few) I am going against the grain and decided to NOT labor this Labor Day weekend.
I am hitting PAUSE and resetting all things LSJ as I gear up for the Holiday season and the 60 hour work weeks.

Please enjoy YOUR labor free Holiday weekend!

The Gallery will open back up next week.

We will be set up in Ewell Plaza tonight from 5-8! Stop by and help us complete a community paint by number. Ages 2-92!

Last month's Music Friday was rockin’! 20+ street acts appeared on the street corners, parks, Keys for the City Pianos, and shops throughout Lancaster City. This month’s Music Friday is going to be HUGE. Come on down and wander the streets on August 18th. and experience the excitement of Celebrate Lancaster and Music Friday. In addition to MFE’s Music Friday performers, the City of Lancaster, PA closes off the first few blocks of North Queen street. There will be so much to taste, see, and hear! Don’t miss the MFE Air Guitar wall at Ewell Plaza sponsored by Lancaster’s own Tone Tailors and a community paint by number with LSJ Studios.

Located in the heart of the downtown Lancaster, PA’s art district, LSJ Studios is a striking 900 square foot contemporary art gallery and open studio. A combination of wide open space, natural light, clean lines and an industrial finish, this spaces promises originality and a creative edge in Lancaster’s growing Art scene.

Owner and director, Loryn Spangler-Jones, has been an active member within the local art community for many years and was the Gallery Director, resident artist and lead art educator at Annex 24 in Lancaster for 5 years before making the move to open LSJ Studios in March of 2016. The studio serves as Spangler-Jones’ creative space, a place for classes and a gallery for exhibiting art from around the globe.

LSJ Studios offers fresh new exhibits from March through and including December with opening receptions every First Friday. Also an active participant in Lancaster’s Spring and Fall Artwalk, LSJ Studios does its part to help make downtown Lancaster City an arts destination.
