The c.1810 Hull House, the oldest stone dwelling in Erie County, NY, is a rare piece of early American architecture in Western New York. in the Town of Lancaster, it is currently being restored by the Hull House Foundation. Join us for a fascinating first-person historical presentation with Dennis Upton as he explores the life and legacy of Joseph Ellicott, a key figure in surveying and selling land in Western New York in the late 1700s and early 1800s. Ellicott is closely tied to the Holland Land Company and the development of Western New York. Discover the story of the man who helped shape the region we know today!
