Join us for our hands-on program where curiosity and learning come to life as Little Explorers and their grown-ups experiment and discover together. Every month, a trained facilitator will guide you through a new theme that sparks your child’s imagination while helping build critical skills through fun and interactive play.

For the first time in the 73-year history of the North Museum Science & Engineering Fair (NMSEF), all three local finalists who advanced to the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) returned home with awards! Competing in Phoenix against 1,725 students from 65 countries, Lancaster Country Day School senior Benedikt Kienle earned first place in Chemistry and received multiple international honors, while Hempfield High School senior Ethan Albright and Warwick High School senior Emily Stauffer each captured fourth-place finishes in their respective categories.

The achievement highlights both the strength of local student research and the community support behind it. More than 30 local businesses and individuals helped make the trip possible, creating an opportunity for students to connect with peers and leaders from around the world while showcasing Lancaster County innovation on an international stage. The North Museum Science & Engineering Fair continues its 73-year tradition of inspiring future scientists and engineers, with the next competition scheduled for March 11, 2027 at Millersville University and open to students across Lancaster and Lebanon Counties at no cost.

The North Museum Science & Engineering Fair has inspired young researchers for more than 73 years and remains completely free for participating students. Community support helps make opportunities like ISEF possible—opening doors for local students to explore, discover, and compete on a global stage.

Give your preschooler a summer filled with discovery, creativity, and hands-on fun with Nurture @ North at North Museum! Running June 8 – August 28, this flexible preschool drop-off program combines the energy of a kids camp with engaging STEM and nature-based learning designed especially for young children. Each week introduces exciting new themes that spark curiosity while building confidence, creativity, and early learning skills in a warm, child-centered environment inspired by Montessori and Waldorf principles.

Mondays are now offered at North Museum and Millport Conservancy, where children can explore wildlife, plants, and the natural world across 75 beautiful acres of outdoor adventure.

With flexible scheduling options, trusted museum educators, and limited summer availability, Nurture @ North is the perfect way to keep little learners engaged all summer long.
