The Sanctuary Museum will be closed on Wednesday, December 24th. We will resume normal hours on Saturday, December 27th from noon till 4 PM.

It is that time of the year once again when we reach out to you for help. Your support is the primary means that allows the Museum to continue its mission, programming, and tours. This gothic altar piece is of Our Lady of Victory, Mary. This piece was heroically saved during fire in St. Frances church, on Superior Avenue, in Cleveland, and was transformed into an altar piece. This piece still bares char marks from the brutality of the fire. St. Frances did burn down but was rebuilt after the fire. The statue in the photograph is from St. Ann church in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and is beautify made out of plaster and horse hair. It has hand-blown glass eyes and is slated for restoration. This Statue is open for sponsorship. We are open today from 12pm - 4pm. We hope to see you soon. See less
