Beat the back-to-school blues with us this weekend!Stop by this Saturday or Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM for a fun, low-key afternoon full of things to see and learn. Save the date: Next weekend (8/22), we are launching an exciting Artist Spotlight feature. More details are coming soon!

We're open this weekend, July 31 – August 2, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Stop in and explore both floors of our exhibits! Discover the story of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, browse our arrowhead and mask collections, step back in time in our Settlers Room, learn about our local church histories, and enjoy a trip down memory lane with our Lake Preston Theater display.

There's something for visitors of all ages. We look forward to seeing you this weekend!

We are open this weekend Friday, Saturday and Saturday 1-4pm. Thankful the attendance over town and country days last weekend. We estimate 80 people came to visit the museum. We also had a good turn out for our scavenger hunt. 1st place Begnaud family 2nd place Arthur Silva 3rd place Heidi Carlson and Kannon Nuzum.

Tomorrow during the Lp town and counrty- carshow. Walk on down for some a/c and free ice water. Scavenger hunts still available, turn in by 3pm and winners announced at 4pm.

Join us for an exciting LP town and country days celebration! Escape the heat at the museum, where we will provide air conditioning. Our museum hours are Friday from 1-4pm, Saturday from 10am-4pm, and Sunday from 10am-4pm. Don't forget to submit your scavenger hunt entries by noon on Sunday. Over the past few weeks, we have shared three clues for the scavenger hunt in the Kingsbury Journal.

Our local museum, embodies the pioneering spirit with a replica a homsteaders room. We have reconstructed "Susie's Cafe" featuring a corner booth. Visualize the old days in our schoolhouse, church, and general store. Ignite curiosity , and experience a slice of 19th-century life through our self-guided QR code tours. Come check us out this weekend! Open 1pm to 4pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Susie's cafe " Even if you' ve never order a Braunschweiger from a restaurant, it's hard not to be charmed by the Susie's Cafe display. Complete with chairs, booth, and cutout of the diners mascot, Oscar, the recreation takes you back in time and offers a nostalgic look at the days when dating involved milkshakes and a hamburger that cost 35 cents. Take a seat at Susie's and check out the rest of the history at the Lake Preston museum."
