The truth is that God’s Word is true. He is faithful, and He is true.

During the recent devastating floods in Nepal, pictures of this house have gone viral on social media. All the houses around it can be seen collapsed, but this one house remained standing until the end.

Some people are saying that the house survived because it was built with very strong and high-quality materials. But when I saw it, I saw the glory of God. It reminded me that whoever the Lord chooses to save, He can save even from the fire.

Just as God saved His people in the past, only He truly knows how the inhabitants of this house were protected today when everything around them was destroyed. ❤️🙏

That flood in Rasuwa was not just a powerful flow of water; it was a devastating storm that swept away the dreams of hundreds of families. Some fathers never returned, some mothers have still not been found, and some children are still missing. In just a moment, villages that were once filled with laughter were drowned in grief.

Even today, many families are looking toward the river, hoping that their loved ones might somehow return. The terrifying force of nature has once again left Nepal in tears. 💔🇳🇵

🇳🇵 NEPAL HAS BEEN HIT BY A DEVASTATING FLOOD — ONE OF THE COUNTRY’S WORST DISASTERS

On August 26, a sudden and extremely powerful flash flood swept through Nepal’s Rasuwa district near the Nepal–Tibet border. The flood entered from the Tibetan side and rushed down the Bhote Koshi river system, destroying everything in its path.

The disaster struck around 9:00 AM, hitting areas including Timure, Syabrubesi, Mailung and Betrawati, before the floodwaters continued downstream toward Nuwakot, Dhading and Chitwan. (OnlineKhabar)

💔 The human loss is devastating.

Reports initially confirmed 95 deaths, while later reports said the death toll had reached 157 in Nepal as more bodies were recovered. Hundreds of people remain missing, and the final death toll could rise further as rescue teams reach areas buried under mud and debris. (The Kathmandu Post)

🚨 Hundreds of people are still unaccounted for.

Nepal’s Tourism Board reported hundreds of tourists out of contact, including foreign nationals and Nepali travellers. Among those reported missing were people from India, the United States, Australia, Britain, Canada, Malaysia and several other countries. (Nepal News)

The disaster also affected security personnel. 85 security personnel—including members of the Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force—were initially reported missing. Around 60 people connected to hydropower projects were also out of contact. (The Kathmandu Post)

🏚️ Entire communities were destroyed.

Homes, hotels, shops, vehicles, roads and bridges were swept away. Major infrastructure near the Nepal–China border was badly damaged, while hydropower projects and electricity transmission infrastructure were also affected.

At least 19 motorable bridges and around 40 kilometres of roads were reported damaged. (The Kathmandu Post)

🌊 How did this terrifying flood happen?

The exact cause is still being investigated. Scientists and authorities have pointed to an ice-and-rock avalanche/landslide in the high Himalayan region, which may have suddenly released a massive amount of water and debris into the Lhende River. A magnitude 4.4 earthquake was also recorded in the region around the same time, but scientists have not confirmed that the earthquake itself caused the flood. (Nepal News)

The flood came with very little warning, turning the river into a powerful wall of water, mud and rocks. People had almost no time to escape.

🇳🇵 Nepal is now facing a massive search-and-rescue operation.

Thousands of security personnel and rescue workers have been deployed, while helicopters are being used to reach people trapped in isolated areas.

But many families are still waiting for one phone call.

Many are waiting to know whether their loved ones are alive.

And for some families, that answer may never come.

💔 Nepal is mourning.

May everyone who lost their life rest in peace.
May those who are still missing be found alive.
And may strength reach every family affected by this heartbreaking disaster. 🇳🇵🙏

“They were worried about D*ath Row”🤯😩💔

South Side Crips member Devonta “Dirt Rock” Lee told jurors at Keefe D’s trial that Bad Boy allegedly relied on his g*ng for protection during its rivalry with Dath Row:

“They was worried about D*ath Row.”

Lee said the arrangement was meant to prevent other g*ngs from causing problems for Diddy’s label.

He also admitted taking part in the earlier Lakewood Mall confrontation with Mob Piru members, which prosecutors have presented as the starting point of the escalation that ended with Tupac’s sh**ting.

Could this testimony pull Diddy deeper into the case?

When rescuers entered an abandoned home in Detroit, they expected to find two neglected dogs. What they found was something much more heartbreaking — and beautiful.
Bear, a huge Rottweiler covered in scars, was barely alive. He had lost an incredible amount of weight and was too weak to stand properly.

And tucked against his body was Button, a tiny elderly Pomeranian who was deaf, nearly blind and weighed only a few pounds.

For weeks, there had been no one to feed them. No one to give them water. No one coming back through that door.

But Bear had stayed beside Button.

He had used his own body to keep her warm and had somehow helped her survive while he himself grew weaker.

At the shelter, the staff initially separated them because of their enormous difference in size.

But Button searched for Bear.

And Bear simply shut down.

It became painfully obvious that these two weren't just kennel mates.

**They were each other's family.**

The shelter reunited them, and the change was immediate. Bear settled beside Button, and the tiny dog curled up against him as if she had finally found the one thing she had been looking for.

From then on, they were adopted only as a pair.

But weeks went by.

People wanted the little fluffy dog.

Others were interested in the big Rottweiler.

Almost nobody wanted to take both.

Until Gloria arrived.

A 68-year-old retired nurse who had recently lost her husband of 40 years, she didn't see two difficult dogs with problems.

She saw two souls who had survived something terrible together.

She looked at Bear.

She looked at Button.

Then she made her decision.

**“If they stayed together when they had nothing, they deserve to have everything together now.”**

Gloria took them both home.

Today, Bear has a comfortable bed and a quiet home. Button still prefers sleeping right beside him, just like she did when they had nothing.

The giant Rottweiler with the frightening scars became a gentle protector.

The tiny, elderly Pomeranian became his constant companion.

They don't need to understand each other with words.

They already know.

They survived the worst days of their lives by staying together.

And sometimes, the greatest rescue isn't simply finding a home for an animal.

**It's finding a home that refuses to break a bond that kept two lives alive. 🐾❤️**

Some friendships are chosen.

Some are tested.

And some are simply impossible to separate.

A man believed to have been the longest-serving prisoner in U.S. history has died at the age of 101, having his ex*****on scheduled and postponed eight times as he maintained his innocence despite a murder conviction in Connecticut.

Francis Clifford Smith died in his sleep at a secured nursing facility that cares for older people in the justice system.

Smith was 25 when he was first sentenced to death for the fatal shooting of Grover Hart, a 68-year-old night watchman at a Connecticut yacht club, during an attempted robbery on July 23, 1949.

Smith was one of two men arrested in connection with the killing.
