"On August 11, 2026, the Colorado River Historical Museum in Bullhead City had the privilege of touring the Lake Havasu Museum. The focus of this particular visit was for the CRHS Museum Board of Directors to glean ideas for their museum from what Lake Havasu Museum has accomplished. Eight of us toured the museum and were enthralled with what they have accomplished in their limited space. Of particular interest to us was the display on the steamships as they also had quite a presence in the Mohave Valley area, and the WWII display. After much discussion, we at the Colorado River Historical Museum intend to create themed displays encompassing both of these historic events. We would like to thank the Lake Havasu Museum and all the docents who came in on their day off to ensure we had answers to all the many questions we posited. If you have yet to visit the Lake Havasu Museum, please do so and immerse yourself in the history of the Lake Havasu area."
The Lake Havasu Museum really enjoyed the visit from the Colorado River Historical Museum. They are a motivated group of Board Members and Bullhead City is lucky to have them for their Museum.
