Lake Havasu Museum of History announces “Bob’s Birthday Bash”. Saturday May 11, 2013, 8 AM to 4 PM an Open House celebrating Lake Havasu City’s founder Robert P McCulloch’s 102nd Birthday.
Beginning at 8 AM with a Pancake Breakfast (for a 5.00 donation) let the Party begin. There will be a Lake Havasu City Trivia Contest with prizes for the most answers. The J-2 AKA: Museum-1 will be on site for the day. A Silent Auction for interesting items. A “Poker Run in the museum. Author Rick Kingsbury will be available for a book-signing of the Second Edition of Living at the End of old 95, A Poetry Contest you may Submit your entries to [email protected] by May 6th. Birthday Cake, and just maybe a visit from Old R.P.M. himself. For further information call the Museum: 458 4938.

I am looking for some good U/W pictures of dive sites in Lake Havasu. I am designing a "Center Exhibit" around diving in our lake. This includes people and some of the "treasures" you have found. No need to give locations. Send me jpegs to [email protected]. I will print them and give credit. We will archive them as part of our history. They may be used in a newspaper article and I will also give credit. I am also looking for pieces of antique diving gear ... no Chuck I don't qaulify. We will have all this up in the museum during the month of April.
