The final interview at Mason Park goes to… TUTU! 🐾

After interviewing so many people about war, peace, and humanity, I decided to ask my little four-legged companion the same three questions.

🐾 Why are there so many wars?

Do you believe global peace is possible?

Today I met Puria and asked him:

Why do you think there are so many wars in the world?

He paused for a moment:

Puria believes people sometimes suppress others in order to gain power, and when people cannot agree—even on simple things—that disagreement can grow into conflict.

As he put it:

“I don’t agree with it, but unfortunately, that’s what’s going on.”

Today at Mason Park, I met Alexander, who was biking through the park, and asked him the first two Voices for Peace questions.

Why do you think there are so many wars?

His answer:

Economic and political interests.

Then I asked:

Do you believe global peace is possible?

Alexander believes that if we put the right minds together, it could be possible.

But he also sees a major challenge:

There will always be competition—a race in technology, economics, and political interests—which makes achieving global peace extremely difficult.

Possible? He thinks so.

Easy? Definitely not.

Another thoughtful perspective on the challenges standing between humanity and global peace.
