Thank you to everyone who attended, to our Art League for making the reception possible, and, of course, to our artists! Stop by to see these new exhibits before November 29th — open everyday from 11-4.

The Art Museum of Greater Lafayette is happy to announce our awarded $6,545 grant from 1st Source Bank Foundation! 🎉

This generous grant has helped us replace one of our pottery kilns — a necessary item to keep our Pottery Studio functional. A big thank you to Adam Henson, Gloria Weesner, and Brent Mithoefer for stopping by for this photo shoot. Our staff, board, and certainly our pottery students, thank you!

This year marks the 40th anniversary of ArtSmart: Indiana, an educational initiative developed in 1986 by the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette with support from The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and Purdue University.

To commemorate the anniversary, The Art Museum of Greater Lafayette has on display from June 20th till November 8th the exhibit Celebrating 40 Years of ArtSmart: Indiana, featuring multiple pieces and artists from ArtSmart’s collection, including notable Hoosiers such as Robert Indiana and Otto Stark. Open daily from 11 AM- 4 PM with free admission, AMGL aims to connect the community with Indiana’s history and get all ages engaged with local art.
