Thank you to all who helped make the "Taste of 1776" happen! Jody Fiske, Lucy Forth, and Sandy Corson for making the food that was featured. Pastor Helen for the prayer. Linda English, Lucy Forth, and Ken Layou for sharing local history with us. The stories of the local war veterans and info shared may be found at the Tuscarora Township Historical Society going forward. Mr. Layou is with the Wyoming County Historical Society and has information on Sullivan's March, the Wyoming Valley and much more!

Thank you to everyone else who helped with the set-up, clean up and all the other prep work that went into the day. And thank you to all who came out and enjoyed the event!

Join us at the Tuscarora Township Historical Society for a special taste of history! Sample size of soup, bread, and dessert made from authentic 1700's recipes — available for take-out.

While you're here, step inside and explore our displays celebrating the 250th anniversary, along with local history tied to the Revolutionary War era. See what life was like for our community during the founding of our nation!

I'm home from hospital but at the Tuscarora Twp Historical Soc., we need to CLOSE for Monday, May 25th to (hopefully) plant flowers at the cemeteries, even if the planting occurs between rain showers. Thanks for understanding.

Due to the storm with high wind gusts, the Tuscarora Township Historical Society will be opening at Noon tomorrow, Monday, March 16th and closing at 3:00 PM. I want everyone who volunteers to arrive home safely (hopefully) ahead of the storm. Thanks for understanding.
